How Our Network Works

Who You Talk To

You talk to an independent HVAC provider. That is a local business that runs its own crews and sets its own prices. Fooljerry Heating & Air makes the introduction. After that, the conversation is between you and the provider.

We do not list staff or profiles here. The people who visit your home work for the provider, not for us.

What Happens on the Call

Expect a short, simple chat. Keep it calm. Breathe, then check what you can see.

The provider will likely ask:

  • What is the system doing, or not doing?
  • How old is the unit?
  • Is it a furnace, a heat pump, or central AC?
  • Where in the home is the problem?
  • When did it start?

A quick answer helps them plan the visit. If you are unsure, say so. That is fine.

Request a callback to check provider availability. Timing depends on the provider, the weather, and the season.

What to Ask a Provider

A good provider is happy to answer questions. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured for this work?
  • Do you work on my kind of system?
  • Will you give me a written quote before work starts?
  • What does the visit fee cover?
  • If the part is costly, can you explain my options?
  • Is there a warranty on parts and labor?
  • How soon can you come, and what could change that?

Write the answers down. Compare them if you talk to more than one provider.

You Are in Control

You do not have to say yes to the first price. You can ask for a second opinion. You can ask the provider to point out the problem before you approve a repair. A written quote helps you decide without pressure.

If you feel rushed, slow down. A safe home matters more than a fast answer. If you smell gas or see smoke, leave the home and call your gas company or emergency services.

Some policies may cover sudden damage. Check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.
